Christmas Blizzard Creates Scavenger Hunt of Sorts

Many people dream of a white Christmas, and if you live in Nebraska, that dream is likely to come true. This year was no exception with huge amounts of snowfall throughout the state. While some may enjoy the fresh powder, for many it became unpleasant with more and more snow falling and making transportation a hassle. Luckily, the blizzard came right over Christmas, so it gave at least some people a chance to relax and watch it happen. Going back to work after that, however, wasn’t enjoyable.

As you can probably see wherever you look, the blizzard created huge drifts, rising anywhere from five feet to as many as twenty. From this, one employee from H&H got quite the surprise when the storm ended. Outside was a ten foot drift, which sadly sat right in the spot of where a Hummer H3 was once visible. After digging for almost an hour, luckily with the help of a small tractor, soon half of the Hummer was visible. From there, the H3 was able to be pulled out with a chain. This may seem like a relieving end to the blizzard, except that next to the Hummer sat a Pontiac G6…which still needed to be dug out.

Moral of the story: A wish come true may not always be what you expected!

This does not look like fun…I have come to the conclusion that snow is for kids not car dealerships.
